About me

Bridging business and IT

I am Philipp Storck, and I support industrial companies with digital transformation in product lifecycle management.

In my current project I drive the further development of Siemens Teamcenter for an international industrial company – from requirements management through implementation to acceptance. Before that, I spent six years building up the PLM quality assurance and test automation of a major electronics manufacturer: developing test strategies, introducing GUI and API test automation and steering maintenance releases through to acceptance – in international collaboration across Teamcenter and SAP landscapes, including support in setting up the site in India. In parallel, I co-founded and ran a software company as managing director. As a result, I know Teamcenter from every angle: from the users' perspective, from development, and from being responsible for the big picture.

My academic background as a technology journalist with an engineering focus helps me document complex topics precisely – and act as a direct translator between users and developers. That interface is exactly where the most expensive misunderstandings usually arise. I make sure business requirements and IT speak the same language.
